Preparation and Storage

How do you prepare frozen sushi snacks?

  • Microwave (from frozen): Heat the Sushi Pocket in its sealed packaging for 1.5 to 2 minutes. Let it rest for 1 to 2 minutes before eating.
  • Quick & crispy (air fryer): Thaw completely or microwave from frozen for 1.5 minutes. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F, then cook for 3 to 6 minutes, until crispy and heated through.
  • Seared & crispy (pan): Thaw completely or microwave from frozen for 1.5 minutes. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat and cook for about 4 minutes per side, until golden, crispy, and heated through.

Enjoy on its own or with your favourite sauce. Heating times may vary by equipment; make sure the Sushi Pocket is heated thoroughly. Handle with care after heating and let stand before opening.

Are Sushi Pockets eaten hot or cold?

They’re designed to be enjoyed hot. Heating brings out the best texture and flavour.

Can you freeze sushi?

Traditional sushi doesn’t always freeze well, but Sushi Pockets are specifically designed as frozen sushi snacks, so they hold their quality after heating.

How should you store frozen sushi snacks?

Keep Sushi Pockets frozen until you’re ready to use them. Store them in the freezer and heat directly when needed.
